Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton read some of his recent stories, and TrekMovie has video of Wheaton’s hilarious A/V presentation of his recap of the TNG episode "Justice." Perfect World Acquires Cryptic Studios

Chinese online game developer and operator Perfect World has announced its acquisition of Champions Online and Star Trek Online developer Cryptic Studios from Atari.

Perfect World and Atari today announced an agreement whereby the Chinese MMO developer would acquire 100% equity interest in Cryptic Studios, the California-based developer responsible for City of Heroes, Champions Online, Star Trek Online and the upcoming Neverwinter project. Perfect World will be paying approximately €35 million to purchase the company from Atari, who are keen to explore "emerging game platforms" and focus on "key owned and third-party strategic franchises."


Wames McAvoy on X-Men: First Class, Talks Admiration for Star Trek, Would Love to Appear in Future Sequels

Suring an exclusive video interview with the Danish movie site FILMZ regarding "X-Men: First Class", James McAvoy was quizzed about his relationship to Star Trek. McAvoy plays a younger version of the mind reading mutant Professor X, who was originally portrayed by Patrick Stewart in the first three films in the series.
