STAR TREK ACTRESS' STALKER FAILS MENTAL HEALTH EXAM

Marlon Pagtakhan may have done prison time after his 2001 conviction for stalking “Star Trek” actress Jeri Ryan, a celebrity crime that snagged tabloid headlines. But the 32-year-old Burlingame man has yet to stand trial on similar charges that arose six years later, when he allegedly harassed and threatened members of a Hayward wrestling club.

Four years ago, Pagtakhan was sent to a state mental hospital in Napa after a mental evaluation showed he was not competent to stand trial on the latter stalking charges. On Thursday, a re-evaluation of Pagtakhan’s mental state drew the same result — he remains incapable to stand trial.
